Digital Literacy Improvement for Young Farmers

The youth farmer group assisted by YBTS in Biak Numfor, Papua, participated in the Youth for Papua (WYFP) Workshop organized by YBTS and Kopernik.  This workshop aims to provide an understanding of digital literacy to farmers in the hope of supporting the marketing of agricultural products.

This activity was also attended by Stevanus Chandra, a representative from Kopernik Bali, who supports local activities of the organization in Papua. “The activity we are holding is a workshop with the aim of providing an understanding of digital literacy to young farmers in several areas in Biak Numfor,” he concluded.

In addition, Ganang Gaga Prakoso, as the Papua and West Papua Team Leader of the Bina Tani Sejahtera Foundation, also hopes that this activity can encourage farmers to optimize the use of digital literacy to support the marketing of agricultural products.

“This activity involves 9 representatives of young farmer groups from 4 districts namely Yendidori, East Biak, North Biak, and West Biak, along with the Papua YBTS team and representatives from Kopernik,” Ganang added.
