Attract More Youths into Farming

From 2018 until 2020, our KT Team in Yayasan Bina Tani Sejahtera, Indonesia served young farmers through a series of training on GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) and field days at crop demo sites. Our Technical Field Officers (TFO) are also active in providing technical assistance as needed by the young farmers in order for them to achieve success as vegetable farmers.

Youth Participation:

  • Youth is Classified  based on age category less than / < 34 years old
  • In 2021 YBTS have served 4511 youth (26% of all beneficiaries) through various KT Field Activities
  • Youths reason to farm as a livelihood: Market demands which lead them to have a good crop, good harvest and good income.
