From Lawe Mantik Village, Babul Makmur District, Southeast Aceh, another harvest story has emerged through the journey of Bang Sony Togatorop, a YBTS-assisted farmer who continues to persevere and learn through every planting season.

In the second planting season, Bang Sony successfully completed his first harvest of Guarda long beans. This moment marked the result of a long process carried out with dedication, persistence, and a strong willingness to keep trying.

From the field he consistently cared for, Bang Sony harvested 149 kilograms of long beans, with market prices ranging from IDR 5,000–7,000 per kilogram. The harvest became an encouraging first step that motivated him to continue developing his cultivation efforts.

“The important thing is to keep taking care of the plants and not give up too quickly. Slowly, the results are starting to show,” Bang Sony shared.

The journey toward harvest was certainly not easy. There were many processes to go through, from crop maintenance and land management to dealing with challenges throughout the cultivation period. However, for Bang Sony, every planting season has become an opportunity to keep learning and improving his results for the next season.

Interestingly, this harvest is not the end of the process. The long bean harvest will continue every day, bringing hope that the yields from the land will keep growing over time.
