About Us
Yayasan Bina Tani Sejahtera (YBTS) was established to take part in the social and humanitarian fields, especially related to agricultural livelihoods. We work to help improve farmers’ livelihoods to make them more prosperous. The founding of the foundation is one of the corporate social responsibility strategies of PT. East West Seed Indonesia.

Through YBTS, farmers are supported to adopt improved and practical agricultural practices through hands-on learning and field-based training. By applying these practices directly, farmers are able to increase productivity, improve crop quality, and build more sustainable livelihoods.
Learning Farm Ambon
The Learning Farm in Ambon serves as a hands-on training site where farmers learn, practice, and refine Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in a real field condition. Designed as an interactive space, it enables farmers to directly observe crop performance, test techniques, and exchange knowledge based on their own experiences.
Farmers are at the center of this approach—not as beneficiaries, but as active contributors. The Learning Farm creates an environment where knowledge flows both ways, combining technical guidance with local insights to ensure that practices are relevant, practical, and adaptable to farmer's contexts.

Learning Farm Sorong
The Learning Farm in Sorong is an inclusive field-based platform where migrant farmers and indigenous communities (Orang Asli Papua/OAP) work together to strengthen vegetable cultivation practices. Building on existing knowledge, the approach introduces practical improvements that are relevant and adaptable to local conditions.
Through hands-on learning, farmers observe crop performance, test techniques, and exchange knowledge directly in the field. By combining technical guidance with local wisdom, farmers are able to make informed decisions and continuously improve their practices, supporting more resilient and sustainable farming systems.
