Context and Project Objective

Knowledge Transfer & Extension – Papua program aims to expand knowledge about good vegetable cultivation practices. This program is active in the regions of Sorong, Manokwari, Biak Numfor, Nabire, Merauke, and Jayapura. In addition to providing training, the program also ensures the sustainability of farming efforts.

Expected Outcomes

  • Increased knowledge and skills of farmers in good vegetable cultivation practices.
  • Sustainability of farming efforts through ongoing support.
  • Improved productivity and quality of agricultural yields in the region.

Achievment

By 2024, the program successfully trained over 5,000 farmers with the support of 6 dedicated staff members.
