Context and Project Objective

The Knowledge Transfer & Extension Program – Aceh & North Sumatera operates across six district in two provinces on the island of Sumatera: Aceh Province (Aceh Singkil and Aceh Tenggara) and North Sumatera Province (North Tapanuli, Dairi, Humbang Hasundutan, and Simalungun).

Expected Outcomes

• Increased knowledge and skills of farmers in good agricultural practices (GAP)
• Strengthened local economy through enhanced agricultural productivity
• Improved nutritional resilience in the community through more efficient and sustainable farming practices

Achievment

In 2025, the program resumed activities in August and has supported 447 farmers, consisting of 206 women farmers and 241 men farmers.
