Yayasan Bina Tani Sejahtera (YBTS) is an independent not for profit organization, registered in the Republic of Indonesia.
YBTS works to support farmers in adopting and applying good farming practices through knowledge transfer & extension activities.
Farmers are at the center of our service, and our field staff are acting like agents of a change & transformational trajectory in ensuring farmers adopt good practices along with applications of good quality seeds & agri-inputs. This will lead to the betterment of farmers’ work efficiency and productivity. We are aiming at helping farmers’ livelihoods better to make them & their families more prosperous.
Purpose of The Job
The incumbent is responsible for overseeing data processes and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. He/she manages, analyzes, and interprets sets of data to support informed decision-making within YBTS.
This role is crucial for YBTS to leverage data for strategic decision making and operational efficiency, making Data Management Supervisor position an asset in the organization.
Work Relationships
- Direct reporting to YBTS Manager
- Managing a team of Data staff
- Supporting Program/Project management team
Key Responsibilities Include
- Data management: collect, clean, and maintain data sets to ensure accuracy and accessibility for project management
- Data analysis: utilize statistical methods and analytical tools to extract insights from data, identifying trends and patterns to inform sound decision making and improve processes
- Monitoring data quality: ensure data is accurate, factual, reliable, and compliant with standards; and perform regular checks or audit to ensure data integrity
- Training staff: educate team members on data management practices
- Collaboration: work closely with various departments/functions to ensure proper and relevant data collection, storage, and utilization
- Reporting: create and manage reports, dashboards, and visualizations to share/communicate insights and findings to internal customers (both technical and non-technical functions)
Qualification Requirements
- Educational background: Bachelor’s degrees in data analytics, statistical skills and training, information management, computer science, or related field. Master’s degree is preferable.
- Technical proficiency: expertise and skills in data management and analysis tools
- Analytical skills: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and with attention to details
- Communication skills: ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner and format to respected users
- Work experience: previous experience in a data-related role is preferred, with a focus on data analysis and management
