Job Purpose

The Life Skills & Inclusion Officer is responsible for facilitating the delivery of life skills training for youth participating in the program. Working in coordination with the Technical Field Officer, this position supports the planning and scheduling of training activities, manages the implementation of learning sessions, and ensures that all learning processes are participatory, safe, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of participants.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate life skills training sessions for youth using participatory and engaging learning methods.
Deliver training modules on goal setting, decision-making, financial literacy, and business planning.
Support the adaptation and improvement of learning materials to meet participants’ needs and local contexts.
Conduct activity documentation, monitoring, and reporting on a regular basis.
Promote inclusion, gender equality, and meaningful participation throughout program activities.
Coordinate with program teams and relevant stakeholders to support field implementation.

Qualifications

Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Communication, Psychology, Community Development, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in education, training, community development, youth development, or related programs.
Strong interest in youth development and empowerment.
Excellent communication and group facilitation skills.
Strong active listening and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of gender equality and social inclusion principles.
Creative, adaptable, and able to foster an engaging learning environment.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Willing to work in the field and travel as required by the program.
Based in or willing to be assigned to West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
